  • Check-in with requirement alert

We are looking for a way to have an alert pop up if a student does not have a requirement.  Starting in the fall we are going to have an annual release form that we will be handing out and asking parents to fill out and return.  It would include a medical release form in case we would need it during our regular programming or for any day ...

  • test environments

We are pretty new to F1 and something we are having a little bit of difficulty with is the no delete options.... I think overall this is a good feature meant to protect us the end user from accidentally deleting something and really doing harm to the database.  So my question is this. Is anyone using some kind of system to test something ...

  • Using Check-in at a Mobile Location

Increasingly churches are meeting in temporary facilities such as a schools or theaters. In some instances the church is able to negotiate the use of the Internet at the temporary location. However, in many instances they cannot and they are unable to leverage Internet-based tools like Fellowship One Check-in. Until recently there were not ...

  • Print a Name Tag

Ever wonder how you can control which rooms print name tags during check-in? There are two places this feature can be configured. The first is the Add/Edit Activity setup form and the second is on the Rooms & Locations setup form. The rule is that if Print a Name Tag is selected for the Activity, then all Rooms & Locations for ...

  • Re: F1 Multi-Site administration

I would also love to hear best (or worst) practices for F1 and multi-site.  We are going to open our first campus Easter 2008.   To those of you using Fellowship One to support a multi-campus church:How are you tracking giving separately for each campus? Is there anything that you would have set up differently in F1 now that you ...

  • F1 Multi-Site administration

We are getting ready to launch our second site and I need to create the administration plan for F1 usage at both sites.  Our two sites will be about an hour apart, so I don't know how much crossover we will have between the two congregations. What works WELL for multi-site implementation?  (different status's, different ...

  • Re: Printer Sharing

Sorry I didn't reply to your question sooner.  I've worked with one of my church customers that successfully used a Parallel Printer Sharing Device also referred to as a Parallel Auto Switch.  They're pretty inexpensive.  Here's a link to one that should work... http://www.cablesnmor.com/a885028.html.  Please ...

  • Using a theater

We are opening our first multi-site location at a theater.  Anyone have dos/don'ts about using movie theaters for church sites? We also use F1 ChMS and will be using F1 check-in, has anyone had problems storing computers in trailers during the week etc.   Thanks   Mark

  • Queuing Theory at Check-in

After recently watching several churches modify their process for children’s check-in to accommodate our check-in module, it occurred to me how much “queuing theory” comes into play.  How a church establishes its check-in queue can make all the difference whether a family believes they are waiting a long time or ...
