  • Re: Posting and Editing Attendance

We need the ability to correct errors through SGM. It's called Distributive Workload Management (DWM). We also need to eliminate the confusion created by the two date in the upper right corner. What is ''reporting date'' and what is ''activity date.''  The dates set in the schedule should be the dates presented for posting.

  • Updating Small Group Information for a New Season

We are getting ready to kick off the fall season for small groups, so I'm gathering all the updated information from small group leaders to process.  Some groups are continuing very similar to last year, some groups are changing leaders, some groups are ending, and some new groups are starting. What is the best way to track in Fellowship ...

Unfortuantely this is not currently available.  I highly recommend that if this something you'd like to see in the product that you post the suggestion under the IDEAS section. Blessings,

  • Re: Posting and Editing Attendance

To date, I do not know of a specific project that will allow small group leaders to go back and change attendance history. You mentioned that ''it wouldn’t allow him to select the correct date''. This is a feature of Small Group Manager. Once attendance has been posted on a specific date that date is no longer available from Small Group ...

  • Posting and Editing Attendance

This is related specifically to an issue that occurred recently where a connect host attempted to post attendance for a particular activity date and it wouldn’t allow him to select the correct date. Then for some reason they began posting the same attendance for three dates in the future which is incorrect and obviously skews any kind of ...

  • Using Group Manager for Care Ministries: A Case Study

Recently I was working with CrossWinds church in Dublin CA and came across a situation I had seen in the past but did not have a great solution to meet their needs.  Recent advances in F1's ability to send contacts to small group leaders has provided a solution that now easily meets a care ministry needs.   The ...

  • Questions-Small Groups Best Practices

Hi! We are in the beginning stages of using F1 and are trying to determine best practices for many areas and ministries. The one that has recently become my responsibility is our small group ministry. I would really like to start us out doing things the most efficient way, so I have some questions regarding how others are tracking their small ...

  • Take A Census

Attendance carries the stigma from your school days where everyone had to be in class and everyday attendance was taken. Census means that on some interval of your choosing you stop and count how many people are actually involved in this activity.  Like the US census taken every ten years you can choose any interval you want and ask ''how ...

  • Volunteers who need to pay...

We have some events where our volunteers have to pay a fee (i.e. kids camp).  With or without using weblink what's a good way to verify that the volunteer is registered and payed and can check in.  It seems as though if we let them register through weblink they will then be participants (and won't qualify for the event based on age) but ...

  • Small Groups - Activity Finder Question

My small groups pastor would like to have a single link from our website that would then list all available small groups to the end user. Does anyone know of a link to use to be able to do this?  Instead of having to load the Activity Finder then select small groups from the pull-down list then click the Search button.   He has been ...

  • Re: Creating Maps for small groups

If it's for small groups of people you could use the mapping program at http://www.batchgeocode.com/. It let's you put in a set of addresses and outputs a map with those addresses marked. You can also save the map as a webpage or as a .kml file for use in Google Earth.
