  • Weblink Security?

I am very comfortable with the security features that F1 has in place, however, our website guy was recently given the job of setting up weblink for us and he had some concerns. Can someone suggest some answer I can give him to his questions? Below are his thoughts. ''In order for me to register for an event, I have to create an account with ...

  • Re: Weblink - Website Integration

We are new to Fellowship One also.  I'm the champion for our church and also the webmaster.  I'm going to be taking a php course in November but I would be really interested in what you have.  We won't be starting the weblink process until after January but I'd like to prepare for it now.  Thanks a lot!

  • Re: Critical Care Contacts

There are a couple of different ways we have seen churches track these types of contacts. The option you choose will depend upon when you want the data captured. Option 1 - entering the information when the call comes in: This option is focused on workflow through the contact process vs. strict privacy of information. Create a critical care ...

    1) Does anyone know a work-around or a hack to simply make an existing account weblink enabled.Yes, you can use our application program interface called Data Exchange to mass export all your adult (14 yrs. and up) member records. Then you will create user name, password, and optionally challenge question for each individual record. It's required ...

  • Weblink Integration Codes-Should Access Be Restricted?

I'm wondering if anyone else has concerns about the weblink integration code word document being available through the help section? Should this be something that is for ADMIN use only? Thanks for your help!

  • Using Group Manager for Care Ministries: A Case Study

Recently I was working with CrossWinds church in Dublin CA and came across a situation I had seen in the past but did not have a great solution to meet their needs.  Recent advances in F1's ability to send contacts to small group leaders has provided a solution that now easily meets a care ministry needs.   The ...

  • Disable / Remove "Close this Window" button?

I have implemented an ajax lightwindow to work around pop-up blocking issues with users browsers when clicking on weblink links on our site.  So basically instead of the user clicking on a link that goes to a form or registration that opens in a pop-up, the weblink form appears in an iframe which floats above the page within the same browser ...

  • Log In & Log Out Button for our website

Can anyone tell me how to create a log in button & log out button for our website.  I have seen it on other websites that use F1 weblink.  Once they login they can sign up on any form on the website that uses weblink.  Also, we would like to create a general log out.  Any help would be appreciated.  I am not very code ...

  • Volunteers who need to pay...

We have some events where our volunteers have to pay a fee (i.e. kids camp).  With or without using weblink what's a good way to verify that the volunteer is registered and payed and can check in.  It seems as though if we let them register through weblink they will then be participants (and won't qualify for the event based on age) but ...

  • Re: Scholarships and Fundraisers

We use the promotion code for both the scholarship and fundraiser purpose. Here is our process Scholarships: Our students fill out a sholarship application; once we have approved their application, I create a promotional code for that person and they enter this code when completing their registration. (I usually use their last name as their ...

  • Small Groups - Activity Finder Question

My small groups pastor would like to have a single link from our website that would then list all available small groups to the end user. Does anyone know of a link to use to be able to do this?  Instead of having to load the Activity Finder then select small groups from the pull-down list then click the Search button.   He has been ...

  • Re: Prison Ministries

Hi Pam, There are a couple of different areas that would work for what you need. The best for your mentors is WebLink's Relationship Manager. It's a very simple tool that allows mentors to log on via your church web site and make notes about all the people they are mentoring. You can create a Group in Fellowship One of all the prayer team ...

  • Re: Using WebLink log-in for a messageboard

Have a look @ this post.  It will provide you with an array of downloadable code libraries.  The most common mechanism is to call DataExchange using the GetIndividual 2.0, passing in the weblink userID and Password (see the code samples for more details).  DataExchange will either pass back an individual or will pass back a message ...

  • Using WebLink log-in for a messageboard

I'm a hack when it comes to coding, so this may be a ridiculous question... We're planning on setting up a message board using phpbb for our church. We're trying to avoid users having multiple log-in's since that would be really confusing.  Is there any way to set it up so that users can use their WebLink ID to log-in to the message board? I ...

  • Shepherding program?

How are people using F1 as part of a shepherding program where the elders of the congregation are each checking in with their own group of families/individuals?  We would like to be able to keep notes of contacts, prayer requests, etc, as well as be notified of new notes.  Is this type of thing handled through Groups, or via the ...

  • Re: Membership Applications

An online application would be convenient, however, not the best choice for us. For three reasons:First, most of the people who fill out forms on Weblink do not format their information correctly which means we must go in afterwards and fix the information they gave us.Second, most of the people who become members were already attending the church ...

  • Re: Logging out of WebLink account on Public Computers

The only solution is to use ''flo=true'' URL parameter in all WebLink URLs, which prevents iCode from being included in the URL and forces cookie to be deleted when browser window is closed. Since Event Reg doesn't support ''flo=true'', I am not aware of a good solution for this problem in the Eveng Reg module. I would like to see all WebLink ...

  • Re: Logging out of WebLink account on Public Computers

F1 is probably using session id’s in cookies to maintain log in state. The easiest way to clear those is by closing the browser window.
